Another legend Passes – Gil Scott Heron dies at the age of 62

Known to many as the Godfather of Rap, Mr Gil Scott Heron was a poet & a musician fusing the genre’s of jazz, soul & blues altogether. For me I really learnt about Gil from my elder cousins and friends when the Soul scene in London really picked up & also the infamous “Rotation” at Subterania in Ladbroke Grove. His music and legacy will continue on while he rests in peace…
